Overview
When one detacher has to handle everything.
The stronger the magnet, the more easily you can pop a magnetic-lock tag open. The Super Lock is at the top end of that strength spectrum. Most individual tag types don't need a magnet this powerful, but if you're running multiple tag families in the same store — say Checkpoint hard tags alongside Super Lock tags alongside standard Sensormatic magnetics — the Super Lock handles all of them without needing a separate detacher per tag type.
Some Sensormatic tags and most Checkpoint tags require a magnetic detacher; this one handles most of them. Won't release Sensormatic mechanical tags (SuperTag, UltraGator) — those need their power or hand detachers.
